Ten weeks  ·  Starts Monday 12 October  ·  Tuesdays 7:30pm  ·  Ten men

Ten weeks from reaction to response.

It is nine at night. The house has finally gone quiet. You have been switched on since six this morning and you could not tell anyone what actually happened in between.

This is ten weeks of work on that. Not a course you watch. A book you write in by hand, a call with me every week, and nine other men doing the same thing at the same time.

What the week looks like

Every week, for ten weeks.

  • Thirty minutes with me, one to one

Google Meet. Same time every week, booked in your calendar. This is where the actual work happens.

  • A seventy-five minute group call

Tuesday nights, 7:30pm. With the other nine. Recorded, so a late job does not cost you the week.

  • One page a night in the workbook

One line on the behaviour, one on the movement log, one on what you noticed. Two minutes before bed.

  • The private group

On Skool. Ten men, not ten thousand. You will know everyone's name by week three.

And in Adelaide: the campfire

Once a month, at my place. A fire, chairs, and whatever is actually going on. No slides, no agenda, no exercise where we go around the circle. Three of them across the ten weeks. Included, not an upsell.

The book

Everyone else at this price sends you a PDF.

You get a book. A5, wire bound so it lies flat next to your coffee and stays open while you write in it.

Ten chapters, one a week. Seven daily pages in each. A Sunday page where you write down what held and what slipped, and one sentence for the week coming.

It is printed and posted to you once your first week is paid. Your week one pages come by email the same day you join, so you start before the post does.

The ten weeks

You will know by Sunday whether you did it.

Every week ends in something you either did or did not do. No scores, no vague feelings about progress.

  1. Stability Before Strategy

By Sunday, one steady thing your day runs on, so Monday does not start as a fight against yourself.

    Pain Into Purpose

  2. The Expectation Trap

By Sunday, one expectation you have been carrying that nobody actually handed you, dropped or renegotiated out loud.

    Pain Into Purpose

  3. Calm Is Trained, Not Claimed

By Sunday, one thing you do after you lose it, on purpose, instead of nothing.

    The Calm Man

  4. The Traffic Light Test

By Sunday, you can name which colour you were in during your hardest moment this week, and what you did with it.

33 Meditations  ·  The Calm Man

  5. The Observer Shift

By Sunday, you have caught yourself on autopilot at least once and named what was actually happening.

33 Meditations  ·  Art of Everyday Behaviour

  6. From Reaction to Response

By Sunday, one real example of widening the gap between a thing happening and what you did about it.

    Art of Everyday Behaviour

  7. Bending vs Breaking

By Sunday, one place you keep breaking instead of bending, and one boundary said out loud before you were pushed past it.

The Fine Line  ·  Hidden in Plain Sight

  8. Presence Is Power

By Sunday, one moment you were fully where your feet were. Phone down, nothing rehearsed.

The Calm Man  ·  Hidden in Plain Sight

  9. Identity in Repetition

By Sunday, one thing you do daily that you would or would not want copied exactly, named by name.

    Art of Everyday Behaviour

  10. The Operator

By Sunday, the mess you are currently in named as material to build with, not a problem waiting to end.

Who runs it

I wrote the books this is built out of.

Seven of them. Every week names the book and the chapter it came from, so you can go and read the long version whenever you want it.

  • Pain Into Purpose
  • The Calm Man
  • 33 Meditations
  • The Art of Everyday Behaviour
  • The Fine Line
  • Hidden in Plain Sight
  • Blueprint From Chaos

I am a behavioural coach in Adelaide. Nobody else can run these ten weeks, because nobody else wrote them.

Price

$100a week, for ten weeks

Or $1,000 once. Same total either way. There is no discount for paying early and no payment plan beyond the weekly one.

Billing starts the week you say yes, not on 12 October. Say yes this week and your one to ones start this week. You get more, not less, for deciding early.

The group calls and the workbook weeks run Monday 12 October to Sunday 20 December.

Stripe will say the subscription runs until you cancel. That is their standard wording on every weekly payment. Mine is set to stop after the tenth, and I confirm that in writing the day you join.

Checkout asks for a postal address because the workbook is a real book and it gets posted to you.

Before you book

This is not therapy.

It is behavioural coaching. It is not treatment, and it is not a substitute for it.

If you are in crisis right now, this is the wrong room, and I will say so on the call rather than take your money. Lifeline is 13 11 14, any hour of any day.

If you are not sure which of those you are, book the call and we will work it out in thirty minutes. That costs nothing.

Ten places

Enrolment closes Friday 9 October.

Ten men, because I am doing thirty minutes one to one with every one of you every week and eleven does not fit in the week. It closes earlier if the ten fill.

The next step is a thirty minute call with me. No pitch deck. I want to hear what your nine at night actually looks like, and you should hear how I work before you pay for ten weeks of it.

The call is free. If it is not for you I will tell you on it.
